Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Like other commercial websites, our site uses standard technology to collect information about how individual computers connected to the Internet use it.
This information is collected through “cookies“.
Cookies are small files of letters and numbers that are placed on the user’s computer hard drive.
These small files allow us to distinguish users of our site from one another, monitor website traffic, and personalize site content for each user.
This helps us provide the user with a pleasant experience while browsing our website and to improve it in the future.
Please note, however, that cookies are not able to retrieve personal data from the hard drive, nor can they transmit computer viruses.

Which cookies do we use on our sites?

The cookies we use are as follows:

Essential cookies

– These are indispensable for the operation of our website’s key features.
These cookies do not collect information about the user that could be used for commercial purposes, nor do they store the user’s Internet browsing history.

Analytical/performance cookies

– They allow us to recognize and count the number of visitors accessing our website and to see how they navigate and use it.
This helps us improve the functioning of our website (for example, by ensuring that users find the information they are looking for more easily).
These cookies do not collect any information that can identify the user.
All information collected is anonymous and is only used to help us improve the functioning of our website.

Third-party/targeting cookies

– These are cookies used by: Social networking sites (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) that may use information regarding the user’s visit to offer personalized advertisements on their own website. Third-party cookies like these are placed by a domain other than the one being visited by the user. Therefore, please note that we have no control over the dissemination of these types of cookies and recommend consulting the third-party websites for further information on the matter.

Third-party providers and/or advertisers, carefully selected by us, may use information about the user’s visit to show advertisements that may be of interest.
To learn more about cookies and how to manage or disable third-party or marketing/retargeting cookies, the user can visit www.youronlinechoices.com.

How can you control or delete the cookies used on our site?
Browsers are automatically set to accept cookies. We assume that, by browsing our site, the user consents to the placement of our cookies to improve their online experience. If you prefer not to receive cookies, you can still adjust your internet browser settings to be notified each time a cookie is offered to your computer, or so that you can delete cookies already stored on your hard drive.
Please note that by preventing us from placing cookies on your computer during your visit (including essential cookies), or by deleting cookies after they have been placed, you could affect the functionality of our site and compromise its effective use by the user. This applies to all websites, as well as ours, once cookies are disabled via browser settings.
